Anti-Counterfeiting

« Effectively counter intellectual property violations »

Integrity Thailand’s expertise in brand protection assists our clients in protecting their intellectual property rights. Our team provides the following services:

Anti-Counterfeiting Hotline

Integrity Thailand provides an anti-counterfeiting hotline through our proprietary Canary whistleblowing hotline system. This allows the public or a selected body of professionals to report issues of counterfeiting, piracy, product tampering, copycats, and product diversion.

Online to Offline investigations

Based on online leads, our investigators will search for the physical location of the sellers through OSINT and HUMINT activities. These inquiries will then allow our team to conduct deeper counterfeit investigations.

Counterfeit Investigations

Our investigators conduct investigations to understand the supply chain and to identify wholesalers, importers, and manufacturers. These investigations are conducted through desktop searches, background checks, intelligence gathering, discreet approaches, and surveillance. These inquiries can also be conducted to understand the source of parallel import or parallel export products.

Enforcement

Based on our client’s requirements, Integrity Thailand reports the cases to the relevant law enforcement authorities: police, food & drug administration, customs, or other authorities depending on the case. Integrity Thailand conducts pre-enforcement and post-enforcement follow-ups.

Take Down Activities

Integrity Thailand undertakes take-down activities to ensure that a product that is advertised online is sold by the entitled party and does not violate any applicable laws. Integrity Thailand has experience in working with related parties such as online markets, social media, and related government institutions to conduct a takedown on websites or pages that promote products that are considered to violate applicable laws, including intellectual property laws.

Training

Integrity Thailand conducts product knowledge and counterfeit awareness training sessions with law enforcement agencies.
